Solid ink is not a new technology; it has been around since 1991. With each new generation of solid ink, we continue to improve on this innovative technology. Independent research organizations, including BERTL, Buyers Laboratory, Inc. (BLI) and Industry Analysts, Inc., have tested solid ink multiple times and given it many accolades.
Xerox is the only manufacturer to have successfully developed solid ink products. Many other manufacturers do not know how to compete with solid ink, and may be spreading misinformation about it.
